...while I tell you a story. It's the story of WOOF!, or as I like to call it, a dream turned into a reality. First, let me introduce myself. My name is Jenna Leahy. And this is my dream. I've been a dog lover as long as I can remember. I believe dogs teach us a lot, like how to live in the moment, to play and to not take life too seriously. They teach us about loyalty and compassion, trust, companionship and unconditional love. One of my greatest teachers was my faithful dog, Ninja. He taught me how to slow down when necessary and how to speed up. He taught me to enjoy nature, to stop and smell the roses and to be excited for no other reason than just being alive. No matter what, he was waiting while I worked long hours...sometimes 15 or 16 hours per day. While I was busy working, he was busy sleeping and waiting for me to get home. But by the time I did, I was exhausted. While Ninja was ready to play and go for a walk, I was ready for bed! I spent a lot of time feeling guilty when I didn't spend the quality time with him that he deserved. Even if I did have some extra time, it didn't feel like enough. I was rushing through walks and playtime. I was impatient and we were both frustrated. I compounded my own guilt knowing he loved me unconditionally, in spite of the fact I didn't give him the time and attention he deserved. He tried his best to teach me to slow down, but it wasn't until a year after his death, that I fully understood his lessons. Today, I have taken that guilt and used it to create a dream for others who may find themselves in the same predicament I was in...enough love but not enough time. I am the one I needed back then. And the one Ninja needed too. I am here to walk your dog, play with them, give them love and attention, be of service to them, and to you, while you are not able to, for whatever reason that may be. That way, when you do come home, you can rest in knowing your four-legged companion has been exercised physically and mentally and is ready to enjoy your company. This makes for a healthier, less-stressed pup, as wall as a healthier, less-stressed pup owner.
